End of year update

Hey everybody, Nic here at NeMA Studios.

We hope you have had a fantastic Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year.

I have put a video out on Social media and realised this needs to be on our website too.

We are aware that we are behind and have a lot of orders outstanding. We know there are folk waiting products. We have been doing our absolute best to get as much product out there as humanly possible but it isn't at the speed we would like. At NeMA Studios we believe honesty is the best policy and want to address this. Going forward we have a couple of solutions to speed up order fulfilment.

First Myself and Emma are having a couple of days holiday over the Christmas period to rest. I have lost a second Grandparent this year in December and need some time with family. In January we are getting straight back to manufacturing. However our first solution is to temporarily close down the office. This means there will be no correspondence to emails and messages, this is because unfortunately, recently we have been getting a large volume of emails and messages at all hours from people wanting to know where their orders are. Some have been looking for daily updates and there have been instances of my personal mobile number getting out and I have been receiving phone calls asking for updates. In the run up to Christmas I have been working anywhere between 14 and 18 hour days to get as many orders out as possible and a section of my time has been used up responding to enquiries. This has resulted in slowing down production. There are only two of us at NeMA Studios and we need to completely focus on production and fulfilment in order to get product to you as fast as we can and clear the backlog of orders. We appreciate that some of you are concerned about the status of your orders so our second solution is to provide regular updates on social media and on our website once the office is back open.

Thirdly we are taking on a couple of staff. To help them get to grips with our unique techniques they will require time and training. However this will result in us being able to work more efficiently going forward.

So to summarise we know we are behind on fulfilling orders so Myself and Emma at NeMA Studios have decided to spend the month of January focusing on completing and shipping out overdue orders and pre orders. Our aim is to get rid of the backlog by February. Naturally this is not guaranteed. To achieve this we are closing our office and are taking on more staff. We will put out a further update at the beginning of February to brief you on our progress.

Myself and Emma would also like to thank you for your custom this year. Without you we wouldn't be able to continue making cool stuff. We have lots of amazing plans for 2024 and look forward to revealing them in the New Year.
